FitReclaim ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This policy explains what data the app uses and where it goes.

No Personal Data Collected

FitReclaim does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, device identifier, or any other personally identifiable information. There are no analytics SDKs, ad networks, or third-party trackers in the app.

Workout Data

All workout data you enter is written directly to Android Health Connect on your local device. We do not store this data on any server. The data stays on your device, under your full control via the Health Connect app.

• Exercise sessions, distance, calories, heart rate, and power are written to Health Connect locally
• You can delete any logged workout at any time through the Health Connect app
• We never transmit your workout data to our servers — because we have none

Camera & AI Scanning

When you use the AI scanning feature, the app accesses your camera to capture an image of a gym machine screen. This image is sent to the Gemini API (Google Firebase AI) for text extraction. Specifically:

• The image is transmitted to Google's Gemini API for a single inference call
• We do not store the image on any server we control
• Google's handling of API requests is governed by Google's Privacy Policy
• Images are not used to train models per Google Firebase AI terms
• Camera permission is only accessed when you tap "Take Photo" — never in the background

Permissions Used

• CAMERA – for AI scanning of gym machine screens (optional feature)
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES – for selecting photos from your gallery (optional feature)
• Health Connect write permissions – to save workouts to Health Connect on your device

No Accounts Required

The app works entirely without user accounts. No sign-in, no registration, no email address needed. Your data is yours and stays on your device.

Children's Privacy

FitReclaim is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note the changes in the app's store listing.
